Une offre d’apprentissage intitulée « Apprenti(e) en Calcul Scientifique et HPC (Calcul Haute Performance) (ALL GENDER) » vient de s'ouvrir au sein de Airbus Central Recherche et Technologie sur son site d' Issy-Les-Moulineaux. 

Vous rejoindrez une équipe internationale de 30 personnes répartie sur trois pays (France, Allemagne, Royaume-Uni) au sein du département « Virtual Product Engineering  » en charge du développement de nouvelles méthodes pour traiter des problèmes complexes hors du domaine d’application des outils  actuels.

Cet apprentissage consistera à réaliser des mesures de performances précises des applications développées en interne chez Airbus Central R et T sur le nouveau cluster de production HPC6 d’Airbus, et adapter celles qui s'y prêtent à l'exécution sur architecture hétérogène CPU (central processing unit) manycore (plusieurs coeurs de calcul) et multi-GPU (unité de traitement graphique).

Cet apprentissage débutera en Septembre / Octobre 2025 pour une durée de 1 an. 

Tâches et responsabilités : 

Encadré par votre tuteur, vous développerez vos compétences en travaillant sur les activités suivantes :

· 
Prise en main d’un environnement de calcul haute performance (HPC) industriel, des applications Airbus et de bibliothèques open-sources exploitant les puces graphiques (GPU) ;

· 
Adaptations des applications pour tourner sur GPU ;

· 
Evaluations des performances des processeurs CPU vs GPU ;

· 
Évaluation de nouveaux algorithmes/nouvelles approches sur GPU ;

· 
Présentation et compte-rendus à l’oral et par écrit des résultats observés dans un environnement international.

Compétences et Prérequis : 

Vous allez intégrer une formation de niveau BAC +4 dans le domaine des Mathématiques Appliquées et/ou de l 'Informatique pour un apprentissage d’une durée de 1 an. 

Vous avez les connaissances et compétences suivantes : 

· 
Connaissance de la simulation numérique, du calcul scientifique, du calcul parallèle, du calcul sur GPU

· 
Algèbre linéaire et algorithmie générale

· 
Programmation (essentiellement C/C++/python/shell/git)

· 
Rédaction de rapports/présentations

· 
Travail en équipe

Compétences linguistiques : 

· 
Anglais : Avancé 

· 
Français : Avancé (optionnel)

L’ensemble des candidatures sont étudiées par un recruteur.

An apprenticeship offer entitled " Apprentice - Scientific Computing and HPC (High Performance Computing) (ALL GENDER) " has just opened within Airbus Central Research and Technology on ' Issy-Les-Moulineaux site.

You will join an international team of 30 people spread across three countries (France, Germany, United Kingdom) within the " Virtual Product Engineering " department, which is responsible for developing new methods to tackle complex problems beyond the scope of current tools.

This apprenticeship will involve performing precise performance measurements of internally developed applications at Airbus Central R&T on Airbus' new HPC6 production cluster, and adapting suitable applications for execution on heterogeneous CPU (central processing unit) many-core and multi-GPU (graphical processing unit) architectures.

This apprenticeship will start in September / October 2025 and will last 1 year.

Tasks and responsibilities : 
You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills. 
You will contribute to the following main activities : 

· 
Familiarization with an industrial High Performance Computing (HPC) environment, Airbus applications, and open-source libraries leveraging Graphics Processing Units (GPUs)

· 
Adaptation of applications to run on GPUs

· 
Performance evaluations of CPU vs. GPU processors

· 
Evaluation of new algorithms/approaches on GPUs

· 
Oral and written presentation and reporting of observed results in an international environment

Skills and Prerequisites : 
You will integrate a BAC+ 4 level training in the field of Applied Mathematics and/or Computer Science for an apprenticeship of 1 year.

You have the following knowledge and skills :

· 
Knowledge of numerical simulation, scientific computing, parallel computing, GPU computing

· 
Linear algebra and general algorithms

· 
Programming (primarily C/C++/Python/Shell/Git)

· 
Report/presentation writing

· 
Teamwork

Language skills :

Our selection process :
