Your Role:
The main responsibilities for this position are to manage, develop and grow the MilliporeSigma Testing business within named accounts. A key aspect will be to seek out new business opportunities within the territory and work closely with MilliporeSigma support teams to ensure that financial targets are realized. The person in this role will be responsible for an assigned territory covering Canadian testing customers most densely located in the Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal metro areas achieving sales and gross profit goals of MilliporeSigma product lines. A strong customer-centric mentality is crucial to ensure that customer’s needs are both understood and managed in a proactive and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have a broad-based knowledge of basic scientific procedures, testing methods, and equipment coupled with the ability to listen, identify customer needs, and provide product solutions.
Candidate must possess effective sales techniques, eye for business, and presentation skills to optimally close sales of MilliporeSigma products through multiple sales channels.
Job Functions:
· Meet or exceed sales targets
· Provide detailed and accurate forecasts at scheduled intervals
· Grow the business by presenting MilliporeSigma products and services
· Understand the customer’s applications and commercial needs to advance new opportunities
· Coordinate with sales channels (distributors) to ensure all opportunities are realized
· Observe and understand competitor’s market and product positions
· Participate in trade shows and present product and technical information at seminars
· Provide commercial and technical support on critical raw materials used in diagnostics tests
· Coordinate all customer enquiries, plant audits and contract negotiations
Location : Field Based- Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal Metro Areas
Position requires 60% travel visiting customers within assigned territory
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Degree in Science, Technology or Business (Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or relevant)
· 3 + years of experience in a sales role
· Fluent in English, written and oral communication
Preferred Qualifications
· MBA highly desirable
· Broad based knowledge of basic scientific procedures, testing methods, and equipment coupled with the ability to diagnose customer needs and provide product solutions
· Excellent organization and time-management skills
· Ability to negotiate long term supply agreements
· Highly results oriented and self-motivated, capable of working with minimum direction
· Self-starter, proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to be autonomous and to work in a multicultural environment

Votre rôle:

Fonctions de l'emploi:
· Atteindre ou dépasser les objectifs de vente
· Fournir des prévisions détaillées et précises à intervalles réguliers
· Développer l'activité en présentant les produits et services de MilliporeSigma
· Comprendre les applications et les besoins commerciaux du client afin de développer de nouvelles opportunités
· Coordonner avec les canaux de vente (distributeurs) pour s'assurer que toutes les opportunités sont réalisées
· Observer et comprendre les positions des concurrents sur le marché et les produits
· Participer à des salons professionnels et présenter des informations sur les produits et les techniques lors de séminaires
· Fournir un support commercial et technique sur les matières premières critiques utilisées dans les tests de diagnostic
· Coordonner toutes les demandes de renseignements des clients, les audits d'usine et les négociations contractuelles
Emplacement : Sur le terrain - Régions métropolitaines de Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver et Montréal.
Le poste exige 60 % de déplacements pour visiter les clients dans le territoire assigné
Qui vous êtes:
Qualifications minimales:
· Diplôme en sciences, en technologie ou en affaires (biologie, immunologie, biologie moléculaire, biochimie ou autre)
· 3 ans et plus d'expérience dans un rôle de vente
· Maîtrise de l'anglais, communication écrite et orale
Qualifications préférées
· MBA hautement souhaitable
· Connaissance approfondie des procédures scientifiques de base, des méthodes d'essai et des équipements, associée à la capacité de diagnostiquer les besoins des clients et d'apporter des solutions aux produits
· Excellentes capacités d'organisation et de gestion du temps
· Capacité à négocier des accords d'approvisionnement à long terme
· Très axé sur les résultats et motivé, capable de travailler avec un minimum de directives.
· Autonome, proactif et doté d'excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication
· Capacité à être autonome et à travailler dans un environnement multiculturel
