Strategic Cyber Intelligence Analyst
Accenture's iDefense Threat Intelligence is looking for talented and driven individuals to conduct research, analysis, and reporting on cyber threat actors, groups, and related political and economic conditions with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa. This position involves in-depth specialized research, collaboration with industry specialists and peer analysts internationally, development and maintenance of short- and long-term research projects, a high degree of writing for executive audiences, and the presentation of findings through briefings and external engagements. This position will have high visibility and provides an excellent opportunity for analysts to grow within Accenture's very active security practice and thought leadership community.
Your Role: Our ideal candidate will demonstrate native-level language skills in Farsi and/or Arabic, broad and deep knowledge of threat actors originating in the Middle East and North Africa and affecting organizations there as well as of the environments in which they operate, and an interest in advising strategic and executive decision-makers on threats, impact, and planning.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
· Discover, identify, and report regularly on significant threats and risk to businesses, governments, and other organizations presented by cyber threat actors and groups originating in the Middle East and North Africa
· Research threat actors, groups, and events to produce analysis and reporting on threat TTPs, behaviors, motivations, sponsorship, and influencing factors
· Conduct online research, interview-based research, and statistical analysis in collaboration with peer technical research teams
· Develop and produce strategic intelligence reports focused on industry-level analysis of developing cybersecurity-related threats, events, conditions, and impacts
· Conduct data analysis to forecast cybersecurity and strategic issues related to regional threats
· Research and compile indicators to produce cybersecurity risk indices
· Develop, produce, and deliver high-level briefings and briefing materials on industry-focused cybersecurity issues and threats
· Engage and develop relationships with peers among Accenture Security's clientele and within client industries to learn client and industry intelligence requirements, reporting use cases, and feedback on iDefense products
· Represent iDefense and Accenture Security at security conferences and industry gatherings both in a business development capacity and through public speaking engagements
· Support Accenture Security client engagements
· Support Accenture Security business development and marketing initiatives
· Occasional domestic and international travel
Profil recherché
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
· Native-level fluency in Farsi and/or Arabic
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Information Security, Computer Science, or a combined field
· Ability to apply knowledge of regional threats and their impacts to company operations, to inform Accenture Security clientele and partners of risk outlooks through timely and effective reporting
· Excellent and demonstrable English-language written, verbal and presentation communication skills especially for executive audiences
· Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic, geopolitical, cyber threat, or intelligence analysis, or in a related area
· Strong understanding of cyber security issues and computer network protocols and environments
· Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
· Ability to grasp complex problems and explain them simplistically
· Strong self-motivation, project management, and organizational discipline
· Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
· Travel - Occasional domestic and international travel
· Master's degree preferred
· Familiarity with computer network protocols, computer incident response procedures, system and network forensic analysis, scripting, data mining, statistical analysis, data analytics, and personal interview techniques for information gathering
· Experience conducting cyber threat analysis and/or risk assessment roles within the commercial sector
· Understanding of key actors, groups, and environments contributing to cyber threat and risk; and of the roles of government and industry in responding to cyber threat issues
· Operational planning and project management experience
· Familiarity with corporate business operations, CISO responsibilities, cyber threat modeling approaches and practices, and risk management considerations
· Interest and focus on customer service and quality
· Flexibility to complete fast-suspense assignments
· Experience in handling sensitive data with discretion
· Familiarity with analytic concepts and biases, practices, and procedures
· Familiarity with computer incident response, system forensic analysis, network forensic analysis, scripting, data mining, large data analysis and/or interview techniques is a major plus
