Lead and manage the overall offer process to deliver the technical part of the offer within the given timeline and manage the complete offer calendar to have the offer ready in due-time.

Analyze customer needs & requirements and competitive positioning and work-out adequate technical response.

Organize and lead the Reading Committee as 2nd quality gate of the offer process policy.

Coordinate the proposal elaboration with the support of specialized departments from other directorates according to the Eurocopter offer process.

Launch the Risk & Opportunity identification and assessment for the offer.

Support the KAM during the offer and negotiation period on all technical matters.

Context :

The NH90 military helicopter is a modern, multi-role rotorcraft designed to meet the most stringent NATO standards. Developed in two versions – Tactical Transport Helicopter (TTH) and NATO Frigate Helicopter (NFH)– the NH90 contains a unique, fully integrated mission system for operations in the most demanding conditions over land and sea, day and night.

The NH90 is an industrial joint venture between Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo Helicopters and GKN (previously FK) grouped together within NHIndustries.

Airbus Helicopters in France and Germany are responsible for the design, production and integration of a major part of NH90 components and systems.

Within the NH90 Airbus Chief engineering organization, a technical offer team is in charge to prepare the offers for all new Customer funded activities including new contracts for new Customers, contract amendments for existing Customers, modification proposals, etc.  

Job Description:

Within the NH90 Chief engineering department (ETCN) and as member of the NH90 Technical Offer Team, your will be responsible as Technical Offer Manager, for a given offer, to ensure that all needed engineering contributions are provided and consolidated, to support the subsequent clarification, negotiation with the relevant Customers, and to ensure an efficient transfer to the engineering Contract execution teams upon contract signature. 

As part of your main responsibilities, you will be in charge of:

·  Capturing customer technical requirement,
·  Setting the helicopter configuration,
·  Gathering the Engineering Metiers contributions,
·  Defining the development logic
·  Establishing the development schedule and Non Recurring Cost quotation
·  Defining the Helicopter technical description aligned with Customer requirements
·  Answering to Customers technical questions on the offer
·  Supporting Program and other stakeholders during negotiations with Customers,

Main challenges:

·  Complex international multi partner, multi-cultural organization/environment
·  Wide and complex technical scope affecting multiple different NH90 Variants

Skills & Prerequisites:

·  Project Management: 5 to 10 years exp
·  Engineering: 5 years & +
·  Aeronautics knowledge
·  Ability to work with project management SoftWare tools (planning, presentations, etc.)
·  Soft Skills:
·  New ways key behaviors: Welcome problems, as needed on a daily basis to move projects forward + accountability
·  Communication skills: strong leadership skills and ability to synthesize issues and give meaning to align all contributors.
·  Knowledge of military avionics architecture and equipment or NH90 product is a plus.
·  Requested candidate qualities include: technical curiosity, rigor, and ability to efficiently work together in a plateau organization
·  Language skills : English: negociation, French: negociation
