Description of the job
A vacancy for a IPC Technical Data Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse.
You will join the Technical Data Airframe IPC department in France (SEDS25).
For A350, A380, A320 family and A330/A340, SEDS25 is in charge of the definition and production of the Illustrated Parts Catalog for airlines and maintenance organizations.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Analysing and collecting source data to define the impact on Illustrated Parts Catalog (MPM, Service Bulletin, Concession, Customer Originate Change, ...),
- Launching the work orders to the subcontractors in charge of the Technical Data authoring,
- Steering and supporting the subcontracted activities, and check the quality of the deliveries (by sampling),
- Ensuring the technical interface with Design Office (ES, …), Service Bulletins (SEM, SLU), Engineering support (SEE), Final Assembly Line, Risk Sharing Partners, etc.,
- Managing internal/external customers and subcontractors relationship.
- Providing answer to Customer's queries (Airlines, MRO, SEE, …) via TechRequest Management tool (TRM),
- Participating to the problem solving about Technical Data issues impacting the aircraft maintenance,
- Proposing, defining and following continuous improvement with local and/or transnational approach,
- Contributing to Technical Data projects.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years degree in the Aviation Industry especially in Aircraft Maintenance,
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business/Affairs Management,
- Knowledge of SAP environment, Technical Data IPC product and general Technical Data process, sources data content, tools and process,
- Experience in Projects and subcontractors Management (production & KPI follow-up)
- Knowledge in Configuration Management,
- Technical drawings reading and understanding,
- Design office tools knowledge (GILDA, TAKSY, PASS SSI, …),Technical Data IPC Authoring tool and Spares knowledge should be a plus,
- Technical coordination / Teamwork
- Communication / Relationship
- Advanced level of English.
