Description of the job

A vacancy for a MAP Saint-Nazaire A350 Structure Design & Stress (m/f) has arisen within Airbus - Engineering in Saint-Nazaire.

Near all the departments of the factory, this position is very trainer to have a complete vision on the production cycle.

The MAP team is in charge of treatment of daily request coming from Production community and the definition of repair solutions on fuselage.
Will be integrated in a team of 21 designers collocated between specialties (design, stress).

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Providing technical answers for the MAP Structure activities for A350XWB Fuselage, within the Structure Team located in Saint-Nazaire, working autonomously on technical matters at section Level,
·  Representing the MAP St. Nazaire A350 department in front of Saint-Nazaire plant employees. Answers/decision shall be therefore shared together with MAP St. Nazaire A350 management,
·  Ensuring technical answers for Non-conformities, Design Query Note (DQN) and concessions in conformity to Engineering & Production requirements,
·  Affording technical solutions for Structure ATAs dealing with Fuselage Work Packages,
·  For all deliverables linked to manufacturing support and improvement modifications, to provide answers ensuring stress requirements, structural strength in accordance with certification/safety requirement, and structural policies,
·  Providing technical expertise to Plant community such as production, quality plant, supply, etc departments, for manufacturing incident or product non-conformity with a potential impact on product planning milestones (Major events), and for answers related to customer information/topics and/or Quality Log Book, with a dedicated attention to in-service implications,
·  Ensuring quality of configuration management using tools like DQN, Concession and PassV2 and specific processes developed for the MAP A350,
·  Ensuring a quick answer for both DQN and concession activities as defined in SLA (Service Letter agreement) all along the assembly and equipping cycle,
·  Ensuring good relationships and communication with NZ plants members, other Pant Engineering Teams (PET) and Design

Offices. Ensure the application of common policies for methodology and standardization,

This role will involve frequent travel for business bimonthly in Toulouse and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to bachelor's degree or master's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or a related discipline
·  You have a proven experience in engineering department
·  A composite material experience is desirable
·  You have knowledge of tools, like CatiaV5, SAP PAC
·  You have a significant experience of complex mechanical project design (an asset)
·  You have an attraction for the production trades
·  You are comfortable with daily interactions with Production community
·  You can work in a team, and communicate with all types of collaborators, interlocutors
·  Your daily life is to solve problems, so you are able to think quickly
·  Language Skills: intermediate of English, and advanced of French.
