Description of the job

Airbus (Nantes) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

You will join the Technocampus EMC2 department within the AGI M&P Composites team.

This internship will start on 1st February 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

· Analysing and modelling the rheological and kinematic curing behaviour of a new-generation, high-performance thermosetting prepeg
· Analysing and modelling the phenomenon of water sorption in the prepreg
· Updating and validating a porosity model to be used to optimise the curing of an Airbus composite structural component

Profil recherché

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of an engineering school, specialising in Materials Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and have knowledge of:

· Composite, polymers, digital technology
· Mathematical tools such as Scilab

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level.
French: fluent.
