Description of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Airbus Customer Services in Toulouse, ideal for someone who wants to develop core aircraft maintenance skills and willing to work in a dynamic environment with customer focus.
Airbus Customer Services, Technical Data (SED) is in charge of delivering to the customers the maintenance manuals which are a critical component of the aircraft (A/C) delivery. This is why we are so Customer-minded.
Our Operational Unit develops, delivers and supports aircraft maintenance documentation directly used by the customers (airlines, MRO Maintenance Repair Operations, lessors).
It will enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations all along its life cycle, in accordance with airworthiness requirements and regulations.
The opened position is within the system domain in France (SEDY2) focused on avionics systems:
¤ We are interfacing directly with the Design Office or Suppliers that manage the systems design and evolution,
¤ We are in charge of documenting their impact in the manuals and
¤ We support our customers who are operating and maintaining aircraft Systems.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
You will be responsible for a portfolio of ATA chapters (Avionics part) for several programs (SA, LR, A380, A350) for IPC and will be in charge of the following activities:
· Analysis of Design Office Data (drawings & design modifications..) to define the impact on Illustrated Parts Catalogue Data delivered to the airlines (Service Bulletin, Modification Proposal, Concession, Customer Originate Change, ...),
· Monitoring and steering of subcontracted activities,
· Organizing and chairing of regular review meetings with local subcontractors, managing workload and priorities,
· The delivery of documentation content (creation and updates) in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, approved schedules, quality standards and within budget objectives,
· Securing fulfilment of Safety rules, Quality process and Technical Data guidelines.
· Ensuring Customer efficient support by answering customer queries relative to your field of activities and implementation of documentation changes if necessary.
· Acting as technical data focal point for other domains (design office & customer services & subcontracting companies & suppliers) and referent for systems Illustrated Part Catalogue.
For this mission, you will have the opportunity to create an efficient link with Engineering and Suppliers and to work in close cooperation with numerous other interfaces: customer services departments, design offices, airlines, subcontractors…
This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following competences and skills:
· Proven experience in Illustrated Part Catalogue (IPC) authoring and verification,
· Knowledge of Illustrated Part Catalogue authoring tools & processes,
· Knowledge of aircraft Systems and Aeronautics,
· Aircraft maintenance,
· Knowledge of aircraft drawings,
· Aircraft configuration Management,
· Ability to follow-up activities,
· Dynamic, Proactive and Positive mind set,
· Good team player and good organizational skills,
· Communication skills and assertiveness,
· Curious and open-minded for changes and continuous improvement
· Intermediate level of English.
