Description of the job

A vacancy for a Test Pilot (h/f) has A vacancy for a Test Pilot (h/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Engineering Flight and Integration Tests Centre.

The 'Test Pilots' team, in Airbus Toulouse, is looking for a motivated and willing-to-learn Pilot holding a Flight Test Rating 2 or graduate from a recognized Test Pilot school “B Course” or equivalent, or a recognized Airline pilots with aeronautic technical background.

Within the Flight and Integration Test Centre our group is in charge of perspective of Flight Test, there could be missions from time to time in Hamburg (Germany), Tianjin (China) or Mobile (US) in the perspective of Production flights and also to other places in the perspective of Development Flights or events occurring during delivery phase or during in-service flights or externally.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• The Test Pilot will be involved in Development Flights based on needs on design, data analysis etc. as defined by the local Manager.
• On top of this, it is the responsibility of the Test Pilot to liaise with the Customer, Customer Services, Design Office, the Program organization, in order to ensure smooth operations.
• Flexible to adapt to an operational and reactive environment.

This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Recognized test crew school are ETPS, EPNER, USNTPS, USAFTPS, Airbus AFTS, and all test schools approved by EASA
or
• Recognized Airline pilot with aeronautic technical background.
• Flexible to adapt to an operational and reactive environment
• Negotiation level of English.
