JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The investment department of Euler Hermes is in charge of the investment strategy and asset management for Euler Hermes Group’s assets (Equity, Fixed Income, Real Estate, Alternative investments).
The team covers the whole investment value chain of an insurance company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The apprentice will be reporting to the Equity Portfolio Manager. He/She will have the following responsibilities :

- Assist the portfolio manager in day to day activity
- Provide research analysis on Equity
- Follow main economic KPIs
- Prepare weekly market and portfolio overview
- Monitor performance of the portfolio, and adequacy of strategy to financial goals
- Participate in external meetings to propose investment ideas
- Follow insurance investment KPIs
- Collaboration with other department units (controlling, treasury, middle office)
- Follow Allianz Group projects (for example: Optimal Equity hedging, ESG)

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Business school, engineering school or university with degree in Finance
High interest for financial markets
Fluent in French and English
High knowledge in Excel-VBA
High knowledge in Powerpoint
Financial Analysis knowledge
Advanced Economics knowledge
Knowledge of Equity markets
Knowledge of vanilla derivatives
