Profil recherché
Education: Top Business or Engineering school with master in finance, in strategy, or in engineering
Expected skills to successfully achieve the internship:
Motivation to learn about new topics, positive and proactive mindset
Good understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to organize, analyze and summarize in a clear way
Fluent in English

Within the Group, you will join the Group Performance Management Department.
Group Performance Management Department
Within Group Performance Management Department, Group Controlling team is based in Paris and Hong Kong. The team is composed of c.15 international executives with a strong background in finance, in actuary and in strategy. The team is organized in geographic areas (France & International, US (AXA XL) & AM, Europe, and Asia).
The main duty of the team is to steer financial and strategic dialogues with local entities through various exercises: MBR (Monthly Business Review), Budget, Forecast and Strategic plan 24-26).
The team is working in close collaboration with local entities’ top managements (CFOs, Heads of Controlling) and Group central functions (Operations, HR and technical teams) to feed AXA Group Management Committee and Board with accurate financial & business information.
What you will be doing
We are looking for an intern to join one of the geographic areas. The main mission of the intern is to assist the team in monitoring the entities. Therefore, the intern is expected, to support the team, to:
Prepare monthly analysis covering financial and non-financial performance indicators;
Provide management presentations and regular update on business performance and budget execution;
Participate in forecasting, financial planning and budgeting processes, providing right figures and analysis;
Support the team in discussing with entities about performance reports and forecasts.
Participate in ad hoc analysis on business / financial including benchmark with external competitors, analysis of market trends, review of specific strategies.
