Profil recherché
First or last year of Master’s degree from Engineering School, Business School or University
Convention de stage for final year or gap year
Professional and technical skills
Analytical skills with strong planning ability and attention to detail.
Experience identifying and implementing innovative approaches to address business problems and solutions.
Capacity to consolidate and summarize quantitative data from varied sources.
Experience developing automated tools to deliver reports and dashboard that leverage data management concepts and SQL-based languages (R, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, or related).
MS Office: Excel and VBA – advanced level (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of website analytics tools, Google Analytics is essential.
Written and oral English mandatory; any other language is a plus but optional.
Interpersonal skills
Motivated by an international and dynamic environment.

Within the Group, you will join the AXA Emerging Customers department.
AXA’s Emerging Customer team leads AXA’s inclusive insurance strategy, which aims at protecting mass market and low-to-middle income segments across countries. The objective of our business is to protect vulnerable customers who are ill-insured and help them cope at time of financial distress. As an illustration, we develop small ticket insurance for small business owners, independent workers, farmers, migrant workers, etc.
This initiative is a defined business unit with commercial objectives as well as a social impact mission. More concretely, the Emerging Customers team supports AXA subsidiaries in countries to roll out their Emerging Customers’ business through partnership-building, customer research, product development, design of customer journey, optimization of operations & IT, and impact assessment.
The KPIs of our distribution partners and the priorities & needs of our end clients are central to the team: the objective is to anticipate changing social & economic needs to tailor our products and services accordingly. Primary mission
AXA Emerging Customers team is looking for a reporting analyst / developer with strong statistics skills and interest in the financial inclusion space willing to perform a 6 month internship. The primary mission will be to help the team improve the efficiency of performance tracking tools by designing, developing, testing, and supporting business intelligence and analytics solutions. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to enhance and optimize user-friendly reports and dashboards, aligned with the desired requirements in data analytics projects and digital marketing campaigns across 14 countries.
Main activities
Business reporting tools and data analytics projects
Maintains, adapts, and enhances business dashboards and analytics tools under the guidance of the Data and analytics manager.
Understands multiple data structures and sources to lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions.
Ensures that all data is operationally accurate and appropriate throughout data management processes, including internal and external data collection, data transformation, data quality.
Applies data visualization methodologies - often selecting the right data ‘tool for the job’ - to identify and improve business procedures and practices.
Develops and delivers management dashboards and canned reports to support management oversight of business performance.
Support actuaries and data analysts in ongoing projects.
Performance analysis and in-depth descriptive analytics on emerging customers projects:
Performs in-depth descriptive analysis throughout the customer lifecycle of live programs, to provide data-driven insights that help improve business value and new business development.
Uses data modelling techniques to identify ways in which a program can operate more effectively.
Evaluates end-to-end digital customer experience to optimize and improve the reach and engagement of multiple digital marketing campaigns.
Provides feedback on technology enhancements that could improve analytic tracking.
