We invite you to join our creative and flexible Mobile-IP team as a Physical Design Apprentice in Sophia Antipolis. As a member of the innovative worldwide Intel Communication and Devices Group (iCDG), you will work with leading-edge IPs and most advanced technologies to revolutionize Mobile Computing.
You will help to define VLSI Design methodology and R2G design flows, and then implement critical structural physical designs through synthesis, floor planning, power-grid and clock tree designs, timing budgeting and closure, place and route, RC-extraction and integration. Verify structural physical designs, such as functional equivalency, timing/performance, noise, layout design rules, reliability and power.
In this position you will work with a highly committed and effective team to run our IPs through the entire R2G flow.
An important aspect is to work thoughtfully with our internal SOC teams to support them during integration of our IPs, including resolving critical issues, competing demands and sensitive situations.
The apprenticeship will last for 36 months and starts in September 2016.
Profil recherché
You should be a student currently pursuing alternative engineering studies in relevant microelectronic field with :
Deep understanding of elementary electronic components
Familiarity with transistor logic circuit design
Well versed in programming, preferably with UNIX
A Physical Design Apprentice should not only possess the educational skills needed for this position, but also a strong English communication skills. Taking initiative, having "Can Do" attitude and being able to work in a cross-functional team environment is key to this position.
