My client is a prestigious Swiss-based company. They have a global presence with subsidiaries operating in 15 countries and a workforce of over 1500 employees. The company has three distinct business units, each catering to specific markets: Refining, Electrotechnics, and Advanced Coatings.
Your main tasks:
• Maintain Bank confirmations and execute daily bank nettings
• Confirm transactions, processing and settlements
• Ensure accurate accounting & reporting of Treasury transactions including month end
closings
• Reconciliate bank transactions and ensure the daily movements
• Maintain and follow the Group bank accounts
• Manage intercompany settlement processes and all related postings in SAP
• Reconciliate account transactions with the accounting department
• Prepare the treasury KPI’s
• Proactive in the continuous process improvement of all reporting, increase the
automation of activities
• when possible and analyze the possibility of eliminating non-value-added activities
• Accountable for cash and Balance Sheet reconciliation of all treasury transactions
• Review regularly the processes and controls, ensuring all back office operational risks
are suitably
• monitored and managed under a strict controlled framework
• Improve efficiency through automation and process enhancements
Profil recherché
Your competencies :
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a trading back office or a similar position
• Knowledge of treasury products and processes (cash forecast, liquidity management,
foreign exchange, metal hedging)
• Good knowledge in accounting related to a trading environment
• Fluent spoken and written English and French
• Excellent knowledge in Excel and an ERP system (SAP ideally)
• Good analytical skills
• Respond well to pressure and to dynamic working environments
• The ability to work independently
• Interact effectively across all levels of an organization including senior level management
