Description of the job

A vacancy for a Project Management Officer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Elancourt (Paris area). As the successful applicant you will join the Payload Products France ("TSPAB2") department.

Within Space Equipment as Project Management Officer you will support the Programme Management of all Equipment developed in the Payload product line, through the application of project management processes, methods and tools.

Your main role will be to ensure the planning and the close follow-up of development teams and manage risks and opportunities in co-operation with the project manager. You will define and implement actions to make opportunities a success and mitigate risks.

You will also support and structure the activities of the different roles involved (project manager, engineering manager, test manager etc.).

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Project Structuring / Defining Work Breakdown Structure.
·  Scheduling and tracking of milestones.
·  Managing Risks &Opportunities.
·  Ensuring Project internal reporting.
·  Managing Project daily life / reviews.
·  Managing requirements.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a Business Administration or Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  Experience as PMO in projects in a development phase.
·  Experience working in multifunctional teams.
·  Knowledge of Primavera or MS Project or any other planning tool.
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Organized and structured.
·  Good coordination skills.
·  Negotiation level of French.
·  At least an advanced level of English.
