Job description

(18 month fixed-term-contract)

Within the department of Integrated Drug Discovery-Isotope Chemistry at Vitry/Seine, the purpose of this post-doctoral position is to develop new 18F-labelled probes for PET imaging to support Oncology projects

Main missions:

- Ability to design and execute chemical experiments autonomously and show creativity in solving wide range of scientific challenges

- Carry out the labelling of probes, realization at the bench of the (bio) chemistry program

- Perform PET images analysis and construction

Expected Qualification / Experience

PhD in organic chemistry/radiochemistry, at a state of the art level in modern synthetic chemistry completed with scientific record demonstrating excellence in chemistry (e.g. publications, patents, presentations).

Experience in peptides and conjugation chemistry will be considered as an asset.

Good skills in radiochemistry with an experience in 18F radiochemistry and automated synthesis will be appreciated.

Basic knowledge in PET nuclear Imaging or strong desire to learn image analysis

Basics knowledge in medicinal chemistry.

Team spirit and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment

Very good communication skills (oral and written) in English (French is a plus)
