As a Medical Assistant (MPA) in Gastroenterology, you will play a key role in supporting the medical team in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Working in a modern and dynamic medical environment, you will assist doctors and ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
Preparation and Assistance for Procedures:
Prepare examination rooms, medical instruments, and necessary materials for gastroenterological procedures, including gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and other endoscopic examinations.
Assist doctors during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Handle and process medical samples according to hygiene and safety standards.
Patient Support and Coordination:
Welcome and prepare patients for medical examinations.
Provide clear instructions before and after procedures.
Ensure follow-up of patient files and documentation in compliance with medical confidentiality regulations.
Administrative and Organisational Tasks:
Manage appointment scheduling and coordination.
Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic's system.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sterilisation, and quality assurance protocols.
Profil recherché
You have a strong medical background and experience in a clinical setting, ideally in gastroenterology.
Requirements:
✔ MPA Qualification: Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) or an equivalent recognised qualification in Switzerland.
✔ Experience in Gastroenterology: Prior experience assisting with gastroenterological procedures, such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and other endoscopic examinations, is highly preferred.
✔ Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work in a fast-paced medical environment.
✔ Patient-Centric Approach: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide reassuring and professional care to patients.
✔ Fluency in German : Strong command of German (spoken and written) is required for patient communication.
➕ Experience in a multidisciplinary medical centre or hospital setting.
➕ Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
